UPDATE – Guardian – Protesters urge rethink on religious hatred bill: Around 200 free speech campaigners and a coalition of actors, atheists, Christians and Muslims are demonstrating outside parliament to campaign against the government’s religious hatred bill, which faces its final Commons hurdle later this afternoon.

hmmmm, John Denem has just said he and other MPs didn’t intend the Westminster no-protest zone to ban protests of the ilk of Maya Evans, couldn’t see why the police would have turned down her request to protest etc etc.

I see Blair decided not to vote in the second division on the Lords amendments. The government lost by one vote.Poor T. Blair.
