Humanzee?Unlikely, another example of her ill thought comments & tenuous grasp of science.Thing is, for such a thing to happen the cells have to undergo certain chemically triggered transformations following the union of sperm & egg & in laboratory experiments where this has been tried (using in vitro fertilisation techniques)the fertilised egg failed to divide properly. Even with chimps which share 99% of our DNA .Cases such as Oliver, who was thought to be a human/chimp hybrid, proved to be an aberrant chimp after genetic testing .So once again we find a supposedly responsible politician relying on doubtful science & scare stories to make a point.

"My dear Professor Strowski, twenty years I was banned from my homeland, parted from my wife and son never to see them again. Why? Because I suggested to use the atomic elements for producing super-beings, beings of unimaginable strength and size. I was classed as a madman, a charlatan, outlawed in the world of science which had previously honoured me as a genius. Now here in this forsaken jungle hell I have proved that I am alright. No, Professor Strowski, it is no laughing matter … Home? I have no home. Hunted! Despised! Living like an animal. The jungle is my home. Then I will show the world I can be its master. I will perfect my own race of people, a race of atomic supermen which will conquer the world."

PP: And, as I'm sure you're aware, Iain is one of her best friends.Bartholomew: Lovely reference. Dorries as walking horror movie… with shoddy effects and laughable script.I've seen 'Plan 9' (and Burton's 'Ed Wood', of course), but haven't sat through 'Bride' as yet. But, thinking about it, I may even have a copy of the MST3K version lying around at home…http://mst3k.wikia.com/wiki/Bride_of_the_MonsterMore of Nadine's humanzee nonsense here:https://www.bloggerheads.com/archives/2008/10/nadi…
