Just a quick note for everyone who is watching what’s going on with the developing spin and censorship storm that started with Nadine Dorries:
Praguetory has just turned up with this comment over at Ellee Seymour’s, and this comment over at Iain Dale’s.
Take a look at the narrative he’s building.
Observe how neatly it’s stitched into the Tory ‘rape conviction’ push and the ‘NuLab trolls’ conspiracy theory.
There’s only one way to deal with something like this:
Yes, starting tomorrow, it’s Let’s All Pick on Vulnerable Right-Wing Chicks Week.
I guarantee you fun, laughter, and some special surprises.
Who’s with me? Who’s bloody with me?

Is this going to be like 'Hug a Tory' except with knuckledusters?

A bit. I'd want everyone to pick their own target for their totally baseless and personal attack, but we should also make an effort to pile onto one poor, helpless girl as a group.

It particularly amuses me that there's a sexist argument being used to accuse others of sexist behaviour."Look at the sexists who are blatantly refusing to treat women political bloggers differently from the men. They're expecting these poor women to have the same intellectual capacity as the brave men who have now stepped in to defend them.Equality for women? It's political correctness gone, mad, I tell you. What a disgrace!"You've got to laugh.

By "poor, helpless girl" do you mean Iain Dale?

Jherad: She's a cute chick, but I'd have her for lunch.Ian: I doubt that Iain needs further help in achieving perceived victim status. No, from tomorrow, I start hitting a genuine girly-type girl with e-sticks.
