THE FAKE IMAGE POSTER PROJECT Yet another 'pointless' project from bloggerheads.com BACKGROUND: Because Piers Morgan was stupid enough to make his case with staged photos, the fact that soldiers from the Queen's Lancashire Regiment have actually been charged in relation to the death of Iraqi who was severely beaten while in British military custody seems to have passed a lot of folks by. The pictures were fake, therefore the story behind them wasn't true, right? Wrong. OBJECTIVE: To publicly display a series of faked or staged images, reveal the truth behind them, and in doing so make some kind of point thingie. METHOD: Download any of the posters available below, print as many copies as you think you'll need, then find a public place to display them and get sticky. TIPS: Blu-tack sticks to almost anything without damaging the surface. Try to use this instead of glue or tape. Please. The 'greyscale' versions are specifically designed for photocopying and/or enlarging (enlarging images from A4 to A3 is very easy to do with most modern photocopiers). Take a pile of A3-sized posters and some spray adhesive to any peace march and you're sure to find many people willing to display them on the rear of their placard(s).
